A Kind of Happiness was a project by producer Sofia Parisi where she wanted to highlight stories of people who had found joy in their lives by having a special connection with the nature around them. The project paired a different creative with each of the different locations.
I was involved as a filmmaker and photographer to capture the story of Jacques Gilardone, a white water kayaker living in the Valsesia valley in Northern Italy.
The short film that resulted was featured in various outdoor sports festivals.
