L’HERMIONE

In 2015, the exact replica of the 18th century 3-masted frigate « L’Hermione » was completed after almost 20 years of construction. Her maiden voyage took her all the way around the Atlantic Ocean, following the steps of its illustrious ancestor that had carried the Marquis de LaFayette to fight alongside George Washington for the American independence.
The non-profit organisation in charge of the project hired me to create content from the ship that could be shared with the thousands of fans following her journey. Almost every day for the entire trip and often in challenging conditions while at sea, I shot and edited a video, took photos and wrote an article, totaling almost a hundred blog posts.
