HOPPER 3000

In 2020, a group of students who had just created the « Hopper » start-up reached out to Salomon for help to design an outsole for a carbon running blade. A couple of trail running product managers got involved and the two brands became linked. I initially got involved to create a couple of images for the PR team, but pushed some of Salomon’s marketing budget to be allocated for a proper support of the entire project.

The initial culmination of this collaboration was a hike to a 3000 m summit in the Alps with a group of 6 amputees testing the blade for the first time. I was part of the production team of a « Salomon TV » film to share this very emotional experience with the brand’s community, and shot all the still images of the event that were used on Salomon and Hopper’s social, as well as the promotional material for the film.
